Long-term orange juice consumption is associated with low LDL-cholesterol and apolipoprotein B in normal and moderately hypercholesterolemic subjects. 100% fruit juice, especially 100% orange juice, is a valuable source of nutrients and bioactives such as carotenoids and flavanones.
Pomegranate juice has received a great deal of attention in recent years for its reported benefits. It is a rich source of antioxidants and has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol – the bad, artery clogging portion of one's cholesterol.
