Minerals in Juice

Minerals in Juice
There are about two dozen minerals that your body needs to functions normally.

Minerals – along with vitamin – are components of enzymes. Minerals also make up part of bone and blood tissue and help maintain normal cell function.

The major function minerals include calcium , sodium and sulfur.

Trace minerals – those needed in very small amounts include boron, chromium, cobalt, copper, fluoride manganese, nickel, selenium, vanadium and zinc.

Plants incorporate minerals which occur in inorganic forms in the soil into their tissues.

As part of this process, the minerals are combined with organic molecules into easily absorbable forms, which makes plant food an excellent dietary source of minerals.

Juicing is believed to provide even better mineral absorption than whole fruits and vegetables because the process of juicing liberates minerals into highly absorbable form.
