Botanical name for Gotu kola is Centella asiatica. Gotu Kola is the famous ayurvedic tonic herbs for nerves and brain tissue. A cup of gotu kola tea has mildly narcotic properties that quiet and soothe the nerves. It is believed to increase memory and intelligence, reducing the effects of aging. Gotu kola improves blood circulation which can help the body to cope in stressful situations.
